Indlovu Camp, Olifants West Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa
If you are passionate about nature and ready for an immersion into the sub-Sahara Savannah landscape, the ‘minimalist’ bush camp lifestyle of Indlovu Camp is right for you. Our volunteers are tasked with a diverse group of activities that are determined day to day but generally include projects that support game reserve operations and management such as repairing game fences, alien vegetation removal, assisting with research projects, game counts, erosion control projects, camp cooking, cleaning, and maintenance. Generally, we require volunteers to commit for at least three weeks in camp as there is a learning curve to ‘bush living’ and to fully appreciate the affects of being immersed in a wild and pristine African environment. Please see the link below for the Volunteer Packet to better understand our expectations and to ease potential anxieties over where to begin planning your journey.
